Garbage & Recycling

Waste mangement is an important part of keeping a community safe, healthy, and clean.  Currently the Town offers curbside collection weekly every Wednesday.  Please have your bags out by 8am.  

Built into the taxes is alloted one bag per parcel weekly, additional bags must have a trash tag, these are available at the Town Office.  

There are guidlines and requirements for waste seperation and collection, please adhere to the requirements below, otherwise your trash and recycling will not be picked up. 

Goshen ONLY picks up residential waste and not from businesses commercial trash.  

There are specialty items that the homeowner is responsible for bringing to the transfer station, these include metal, home clean-outs, flourecent bulbs, appliances, plastic bags, hazadors waste, and other items. 

The Town of Goshen brings all the waste to Addison County Solid Waste Management District. Please visit their site as a resource for what to do with your household trash and how to bring in specialty items.
